A LOT MORE "IF MONEY TALKS" TRADESHOW VIDEO
Target Audience: Management teams of region-based large employers, as well as civic and corporate leaders, C-suite executives, NGO/government agency personnel and prominent influencers on subjects related to creating economic growth in communities like the City of St. Louis and its six surrounding counties.
Strategy Objective:During the trade show: Create a digital asset framing Metro Transit's massive positive impact which captures the attention and meaningfully connects with as many economic growth experts, elected and government agency officials, corporate C-suite executives and other influential individuals attending the same trade show. After the trade show: Share the asset with as many economic development thought leaders as possible on industry-related social media, as well as screen at additional industry trade shows and gatherings.
Situation Challenge: From our most loyal customers to our most outspoken critics, Metro Transit has a wide variety of disparate stakeholders. Our challenge? Create more universal support for Metro Transit among all of them -- from the 2.8 million people who call our region Home to the community officials elected to serve them -- by establishing a region-wide tone which is positive, inclusive, forward-focused and, above all, actionable.
Results Impact: As the non-consumer component of the 2023-24 Metro Transit Stakeholder Transit Engagement Platform (STEP), the recently-launched A Lot More (ALM) campaign has started to reach large employers & community-based small businesses, C-suite execs & civic leaders, as well as government agency & elected officials in STL City and surrounding counties (6) – and our entire staff. "There's A Lot More Riding On Metro..." ads debuted (Q2) in 12 print pubs with est. circulation of 399,200. ALM "Money Talks" video premiered at 2023 Midwest Travel Conference (KCMO) before being posted on LinkedIn. In mere weeks, Metro Transit received over 150 LinkedIn inquiries. ALM's microsite soft-launched just prior to APTA deadline, so overall results are pending; performance to be measured against KPIs in Q3 2024.
Why Submit: This component within the larger campaign warrants singular submission because it so clearly demonstrates the #1 most massive reason all 2.8 million people in our region need Metro Transit even if they never ride it: Because of Metro Transit's ongoing regional presence, billions and billions of dollars have been invested in the City of St. Louis and its six surrounding counties...which has literally created thousands of jobs which, in turn, helped create thousands more jobs -- jobs which generated millions and millions more dollars – millions which eventually became billions of dollars which certainly have contributed to why so many of us now call this region Home.
